Rapidshare will close?

After Pirate Bay guilty, maybe another file sharing hosting will face the same problem..
Latest, In Germany, the file-hosting service Rapidshare has handed over the personal details of alleged copyright infringers to several major record labels. The information is used to pursue legal action against the Rapidshare users and at least one alleged uploader saw his house raided.

If it happens, maybe we can't use file sharing anymore..

Yahoo to close geocities

For an internet user on 90s, geocities is a popular free web hosting.. I also use geocities in that day..
Yahoo that bought Geocities for 3.57 billion USD when the whole internet fuss was still new. But now they can't survive especially when blogging and other social networking sites is come..
It is really sad coz I was a geocities user before.. But that's a reality, geocities now close..The sites that are hosted on Geocities will remain for now but users should start looking for other possible choices of sites for hosting. As part of the shutting down process, Geocities are no longer open to new members anymore.
Goodbye Geocities, I will remember my first site with you..

This year as a computer user we will face one of dangerous virus now..
PC World declare that COnficker Finally History. I don't know whether to agree or not coz I'm not good about computer technology ( COnficker not technology,,)...

Conficker, also known as Downup, Downadup and Kido, is a computer worm targeting the Microsoft Windows operating system that was first detected in October 2008.n early variant of the worm propagated through the Internet by exploiting a vulnerability in the network stack of Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 Beta, and Windows Server 2008 R2 Beta that was discovered earlier that month. The worm has been unusually difficult for network operators and law enforcement to counter because of its combined use of advanced malware techniques.
By January 2009, the estimated number of infected computers ranged from almost 9 million to 15 million.
researchers with Websense and Trend Micro said some PCs infected with Conficker received a binary file over P-to-P. Conficker's controllers have been hampered by efforts of the security community to get directions via a Web site, so they are now using the P-to-P function.
Symptoms -

This symptoms of this detection are the files, registry, and network communication referenced in the characteristics section.

Users being locked out of directory
Access to admin shares denied
Scheduled tasks being created
Access to security related web sites is blocked.

Method of Infection -

This worm exploits the MS08-067 Microsoft Windows Server Service vulnerability in order to propagate.
Machines should be patched and rebooted to protect against this worm re-infecting the system after cleaning.
Upon detection of this worm the system should be rebooted to clean memory correctly. May require more that one reboot.
Scheduled tasks have been seen to be created on the system to re-activate the worm.
Autorun.inf files have been seen to be used to re-activate the worm.
